Johanne has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1987. She was a partner at the firm and has represented unions, professional associations and non-unionized employees. Since January 2020, Johanne acts as legal counsel for the firm.

She has accumulated many years of experience in labour law, administrative law and commissions of inquiry. She has acquired solid experience in human rights, pay equity and workplace harassment.

She has regularly represented clients in arbitration, superior and appellate courts and the different administrative tribunals.

Johanne has authored a number of publications and appears regularly as a speaker, particularly with the Barreau du Québec, the Canadian Bar Association, Centre for Labour-Management Development and a number of labour unions. Johanne was president of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers (CALL) from 2012 to 2014 and is still an active member.
